EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Stenographer Grade-II: 12th Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board/University.

Tax Assistant: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.

Multi-Tasking Staff: Matriculation (10th) Pass or equivalent.

AGE LIMIT

Stenographer Grade-II & Tax Assistant: 18–27 years

Multi-Tasking Staff: 18–25 years

Age Cut-off Date: 01 January 2026

Age Relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India rules. Upper-age relaxation up to 5 years is available for eligible meritorious sportspersons, with additional relaxation for SC/ST candidates as applicable.

SPORTS ELIGIBILITY

Candidates must be meritorious sportspersons who have participated in the prescribed games/sports and satisfy the required achievement criteria under the applicable DoPT rules.

Selection will follow the prescribed order of preference based on sports achievements.

ORDER OF PREFERENCE

1st Preference: Represented the country in an International Competition with clearance of the Department of Sports.

2nd Preference: Represented a State/UT in Senior or Junior National Championships/National Games and won medals/positions up to 3rd place.

3rd Preference: Represented a University in Inter-University Competition/Khelo India University Games and won medals/positions up to 3rd place.

4th Preference: Represented a State/UT in Khelo India Youth Games/Winter Games and won medals/positions up to 3rd place.

5th Preference: Represented State Schools in National Sports/Games for Schools and won medals/positions up to 3rd place.

6th Preference: Represented State/UT/University/State Schools teams at the prescribed levels but did not win a medal/position.
