Assam Field Assistant 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Indian citizens as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Educational Qualification – Option 1:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University in any subject with at least one paper of Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science, Sociology or Psychology at the graduate level.
Educational Qualification – Option 2:
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with at least 50% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard.
Language: English and any one local language — Assamese, Bengali or Bodo — studied as a subject up to HSLC level.
Computer Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge and ability to enter data through handheld devices. A minimum 6-month Computer Course Certificate from a Government-recognised institute is required.
Employment Exchange: Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate in Assam is required.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 01.01.2026.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC/MOBC – 3 years
PwBD – 10 years
Ex-Servicemen – 2 years
