Job Description & Details
Indian Navy has released the official notification for the 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme Jan 2027 Course for unmarried male and female candidates. This recruitment offers a prestigious opportunity for students who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and appeared in JEE Main 2026 examination.
Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech degree course at the highly reputed Indian Naval Academy and will be granted Permanent Commission as officers in the Technical Branch of the Indian Navy after successful completion of training. The Navy will bear the complete cost of education, books, uniforms, accommodation and training expenses during the course period.
This recruitment is considered one of the best defence career opportunities for science students from Assam and Northeast India because it allows candidates to directly join as officer cadets after Class 12 without waiting for graduation. Candidates must secure at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 along with minimum 50% marks in English either in Class 10 or Class 12.
