ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATION
1. Junior Technical Officer – Sugar Technology
Age:
38 years for OBC in the notified vacancy.
Educational Qualification:
Degree in Science or Engineering from a recognised University/Institute with Associateship in Sugar Technology, OR
Post-Graduate Diploma in Sugar Technology.
Experience:
3 years teaching/research/advisory experience in Sugar Technology, OR
3 years practical experience in a sugar factory in managerial capacity.
Desirable:
M.Sc. Chemistry or M.Tech. Sugar Technology and relevant scientific/technical report drafting experience.
2. Assistant Legislative Counsel – Grade IV, ILS
Age:
UR: 40 years
EWS: 40 years
OBC: 43 years
SC: 45 years
Educational Qualification:
Degree in Law from a recognised University/Institution.
Candidates must also fulfil the prescribed legal experience condition, such as:
7 years' experience in State Judicial Service, OR
7 years in a superior legal post in a State legal department, OR
7 years as a Central Government servant dealing with legal affairs, OR
Master's Degree in Law with at least 5 years' teaching/research experience in Law, OR
Prescribed experience as a qualified legal practitioner.
3. Law Officer – GNCT of Delhi
Age:
UR: 30 years
OBC: 33 years
Educational Qualification:
Degree in Law from a recognised Institute/University.
Experience:
2 years' experience as a Legal Practitioner, OR
2 years' experience in legal work in a Government Office.
4. Specialist Grade II – Cardiology
Age:
48 years for OBC.
Educational Qualification:
Recognised medical qualification included in the First/Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule to the IMC Act, 1956.
Postgraduate degree in the concerned specialty, i.e. D.M. (Cardiology) or equivalent qualification as prescribed.
Experience:
3 years' experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the postgraduate degree.
SALARY
Junior Technical Officer:
Pay Level 10 under 7th CPC.
Assistant Legislative Counsel:
Pay Level 11 under 7th CPC.
Group A Gazetted, permanent post.
Headquarters: New Delhi.
Law Officer:
Pay Level 7 under 7th CPC.
Specialist Grade II – Cardiology:
Pay Level 11 + NPA under 7th CPC.
SELECTION PROCESS
Selection is through UPSC Recruitment by Selection, not a regular UPSC Civil Services examination.
The process may include:
Shortlisting of applications
Recruitment Test (RT), wherever prescribed
Interview
Document verification/other prescribed formalities
The Commission may conduct a Recruitment Test followed by an Interview for some posts depending on the number of applicants.
