Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for 212 various posts under Advertisement No. 11/2026. The recruitment includes medical, editorial, prosecution and law-related posts in different Government departments/organisations.

Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) – Anaesthesiology – 01 Post
Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale) – Paediatrics – 01 Post
Assistant Public Prosecutor, Directorate of Prosecution, GNCTD – 140 Posts
Public Law Officer / District Litigation Officer / Law Officer, UT Ladakh – 04 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Professor (Anatomy): MS/MD/DNB (Anatomy) or prescribed M.Sc. + Ph.D./D.Sc. (Medical) combination with required teaching experience.
Assistant Professor (General Medicine): Recognised MBBS + MD/DNB (Medicine/General Medicine) with required teaching experience.
Assistant Editor: Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication or relevant Bachelor’s Degree with Economics/Statistics/English + 1-year Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication and required editing/publishing experience.
Specialist Grade II (Anaesthesiology/Paediatrics): Recognised medical qualification + relevant postgraduate medical qualification and required specialty experience.
Assistant Public Prosecutor: Degree in Law from a recognised University/Institution and 3 years’ experience at the Bar.
Law Officer, UT Ladakh: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (Professional/Integrated) and 2 years’ actual practice at the Bar with prescribed certification.
Age Limit:
Post-wise age limit ranges from 30 to 50 years, with specific limits applicable to each post and category.
Salary:
Selected candidates will receive pay as per 7th CPC:
Level-7 / Level-8 / Level-10 / Level-11 + NPA for eligible medical posts, depending on the post.
Selection Process:
Selection will be through Interview. If applications are large, UPSC may conduct a Recruitment Test (RT) / Computer Based Shortlisting followed by Interview.
Application Fee:
₹25 for UR/EWS/OBC male candidates.
No fee for Women, SC, ST and PwBD candidates.
