Oil India Limited Field Assistant (Land) Recruitment 2026 is a walk-in opportunity specifically designed for experienced candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh who have deep expertise in land acquisition, land survey, and revenue matters. Oil India regularly needs to acquire land for pipeline laying, well drilling, facility construction, and road access — all of which require extensive coordination with revenue authorities, landowners, and village communities. The Field Assistant (Land) acts as the critical link between Oil India and these stakeholders, making this a position of real responsibility and community impact.
Who Is the Ideal Candidate?
The ideal candidate has either passed the Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) for Lot Mandal or Land Record Assistant from a Government Department OR has cleared HSLC and has minimum 10 years of experience in land acquisition, land survey, revenue matters, and liaison with revenue authorities. Retired government officials who worked in revenue circles, district collector offices, or survey departments of Assam are particularly well-suited. Candidates must be domiciled in Assam or Arunachal Pradesh — this requirement will be strictly verified by OIL.
Contract Details and Compensation
The initial engagement is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension up to a maximum of 24 months based on performance and organizational requirements. The fixed monthly emolument is Rs. 21,450 plus Rs. 825 per working day as variable pay. The walk-in is at Duliajan Club, Oil India Limited on 28 May 2026 — report by 9:00 AM for registration. Educational Qualification
Candidates must fulfill any one of the following criteria:
Must possess Qualified Recorder's Certificate Class Course (RCCC) of Lot Mandal / Land Record Assistant from Government Department.
OR
Must have passed HSLC examination or equivalent from recognized board along with minimum 10 years work experience in Government / PSU / Public / Private Sector organizations engaged in land acquisition, land survey, revenue matters and liaison with revenue authorities.
Salary Details
Fixed Emolument: Rs. 21,450/- per month
