Executive Trainee (ET) – GAIL (India) Limited 2026 (A major government PSU recruitment for fresh engineering graduates)

BRIEF DESCRIPTION

This is a graduate-level recruitment by GAIL (India) Limited for the position of Executive Trainee in various engineering disciplines (Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical). Selected candidates will undergo training and then work in technical/engineering roles across GAIL units in India. It’s a government PSU job with career growth and benefits.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) in the relevant discipline (Chemical / Instrumentation / Electrical / Mechanical). Must have a valid GATE 2026 score in the relevant paper (required for selection).

AGE LIMIT

Maximum Age: 26 years (as of 18 March 2026) • Age Relaxation: SC/ST: +5 years, OBC (NCL): +3 years, PwBD: +10–15 years (depending on category), Ex-Servicemen: As per govt rules

SALARY

Pay Scale: ₹60,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month. During Training: Basic pay ₹60,000 plus allowances (VDA, HRA, medical benefits etc.)No application fee required for any category (General, OBC, SC, ST) — free to apply.
