Indian Army invites online applications from unmarried male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) – Non-Technical under NCC Special Entry Scheme 124th Course (October 2026). Eligible NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders can apply within the prescribed dates.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess:

Graduate Degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Minimum 2 years service in NCC Senior Division / Wing.

NCC ‘C’ Certificate with minimum ‘B’ Grade.

(Wards of Battle Casualties are exempted from NCC ‘C’ Certificate requirement.)

Final year students may also apply subject to completion of degree before commencement of course.

Pay Scale (After Commission):

Lieutenant – ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (Level 10)

Military Service Pay (MSP) – ₹15,500 per month
