Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications from eligible Indian male candidates for recruitment to the post of Agniveervayu (Non-Combatant) under the Agnipath Scheme (Intake 02/2026). The engagement is for a period of 4 years in non-combatant support roles such as Hospitality and Housekeeping at various Air Force Stations across India.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have passed:

• Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Age Limit:

• Candidates born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).

• Minimum Age: 17½ Years

• Maximum Age: 23 Years

• Upper age limit at the time of enrollment: 21 Years

Marital Status:

• Only Unmarried Male Candidates are eligible.

• Candidates must undertake not to marry during the 4-year engagement period.

Physical Standards:

• Height: Minimum 152 cm

• Chest: Minimum 5 cm expansion

• Weight: Proportionate to height and age

• Hearing: Normal hearing (able to hear whisper from 6 meters)

• Dental: Minimum 14 dental points

• General Health: Medically fit as per IAF standards

Selection Process:

• Written Test

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• Stream Suitability Test (if applicable)

• Medical Examination

• Document Verification

Final selection will be based on merit and medical fitness.

Salary & Benefits (As per Agnipath Scheme):

• 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month

• 2nd Year: ₹33,000 per month

• 3rd Year: ₹36,500 per month

• 4th Year: ₹40,000 per month

• Seva Nidhi Package: Approximately ₹10.04 Lakhs after 4 years

• Life Insurance Cover: ₹48 Lakhs

• Other allowances as applicable

Job Location:

Selected candidates can be posted at any Air Force Station across India.
