View All JobsIndian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division, invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for engagement as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in various trades, technical disciplines, and graduate apprenticeship categories for the year 2025–26. Applications must be submitted online within the prescribed dates mentioned below.
Total Vacancies: 509 posts(Eastern Region 2025–26)
Discipline-wise Vacancies: Technician Apprentices – 248 posts Trade Apprentices – 127 posts Graduate Apprentices – 107 posts Trade Apprentice (DEO) – 27 posts
Vacancies are distributed across States including Assam, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Jharkhand and North-Eastern states. Selected candidates will be posted at various IOCL locations depending on the requirement.
Stipend:Stipend will be paid as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprenticeship Rules — applicable to Trade, Technician, Graduate and DEO apprentices. Stipend varies based on qualification category (ITI / Diploma / Graduate).
Eligibility Criteria:Minimum age 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 30 November 2025. Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years and as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualifications:–Trade Apprentice (ITI): 10th + ITI in relevant trade– Technician Apprentice: 3-year full-time Diploma– Graduate Apprentice: Full-time Graduate Degree (BA/BCom/BSc/BBA etc.)– DEO Apprentice: 10th + 12th (for Fresher DEO)Only full-time regular courses are acceptable. Candidates must have a valid Aadhaar, bank account, and all required certificates.
Selection Process:Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, followed by document verification and medical fitness. No written exam is required for many categories unless notified.
