Sports Eligibility
Sports performance will be considered only for recognized events held on or after 01 April 2024, as specified in the notification.
Only specified competitions such as Senior National Championships and recognized Junior National Championships are considered. Regular meets, festival meets and similar tournaments are not accepted.
Additional sport-specific conditions apply for disciplines such as volleyball, powerlifting, weightlifting, wrestling and hockey.
Selection Process
All eligible candidates will be called for Sports Trial.

Assessment of Sports Achievements & Educational Qualification
Document Verification
Medical Examination
Candidates must be declared FIT in the trial, with 25 or more marks out of 40 for game skill, physical fitness and coach's observation, to proceed further.
Marks Distribution
Recognized Sports Achievements – 50 Marks
Game Skill, Physical Fitness & Coach's Observation – 40 Marks
Educational Qualification – 10 Marks
Total – 100 Marks
Minimum qualifying marks:
Level 5/4 – 70
Level 3/2 – 65
Level 1 – 60
Merit will decide appointment. In case of a tie, the younger candidate gets preference.
Application Fee
General/OBC/Other candidates: ₹500
₹400 is refundable after appearing in the trial, subject to eligibility and bank charges.
SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/PwBD/Women/Minorities/Economically Backward Class: ₹250
Full fee is refundable after appearing in the trial, subject to eligibility and bank charges.
