Educational Qualification

1. Medical Officer

Qualification:

MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution/university.

Candidates must also have:

Permanent registration with MCI/NMC/State Medical Council

Completion of compulsory rotating internship

2. Specialist Medical Officer

Qualification:

MBBS + Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty.

Relevant post-qualification experience is required as prescribed for the post.

3. Super Specialist Medical Officer

Qualification:

MBBS + Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in the relevant specialty + DM/M.Ch. or equivalent qualification, along with the prescribed experience.

Age Limit

Medical Officer: Maximum 30 Years

Specialist Medical Officer: Maximum 40 Years

Super Specialist Medical Officer: Maximum 50 Years

Age Relaxation:

SC/ST: 5 Years

OBC: 3 Years

Age will be calculated as on the closing date of application.

Salary / Pay Scale

Super Specialist Medical Officer:

Level-12 — ₹78,800 to ₹2,09,200

Specialist Medical Officer:

Level-11 — ₹67,700 to ₹2,08,700

Medical Officer:

Level-10 — ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500

Additional allowances and benefits are applicable as per Government rules.

Physical Standards

Male:

Height: 157.5 cm

Chest: 77 cm unexpanded / 82 cm expanded

Female:

Height: 142 cm

Chest: Not applicable

Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per prescribed CAPF standards.
