ESIC Kolkata Teaching Faculty Walk-in 2026 - Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor (Super Specialty)

ESIC Kolkata has released a walk-in recruitment notification (Advt No. 06 of 2026) for 27 Teaching Faculty positions in Super Specialty Departments at ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka. This is a contractual engagement under the consolidated remuneration scheme adopted by ESIC Headquarters.

Professors (16): Anesthesiology (4), Burns & Plastic Surgery (1), Cardiology (1), Endocrinology (1), Hematology (1), Gastroenterology (1), Medical Oncology (1), Nephrology (1), Neurology (1), Pediatrics Surgery (1), Surgical Gastroenterology (1), Urology (1).

Associate Professors (11): Burns & Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Pediatrics Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Urology (1 each).

Assistant Professors (16): Anesthesiology (4), Burns & Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Neurology, Pediatrics Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Urology (1 each).

Eligibility:

As per NMC’s Teacher Eligibility Qualifications 2025 (Table C & D). Candidates eligible for higher posts can be interviewed for lower posts. If selected, they may be placed with suitable upgradation based on board recommendations.

Salary & Allowances:

Consolidated remuneration: Professor ₹2,60,226; Associate Professor ₹1,73,045; Assistant Professor ₹1,48,669. Super Specialty faculty get transport allowance + DA on transport allowance. DA revisions will apply. No other allowances, no TA/DA for joining, no private practice.

Application Fee:

₹500 for General/OBC candidates via Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund Account No. I" payable at Kolkata. SC/ST/Regular ESIC/Female/Ex-Servicemen are exempted.

Selection Process:

Walk-in interview before the Selection Board. Result published on www.esic.gov.in.

Report to Academic Block, 2nd Floor, ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College, Joka, Kolkata on 28th May 2026 between 09:30 AM – 10:30 AM for document verification.

Carry original documents + self-attested copies (age proof, category, educational certificates, registration, teaching experience, research papers, PPO if retired, NOC if serving, service bond release if applicable).

Latecomers after 10:30 AM will not be entertained.
