NMDC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 — Walk-in Guide for ITI and Engineering Graduates
NMDC Limited (National Mineral Development Corporation), one of India's largest iron ore producers, has opened 180 Apprentice posts at its Bailadila Iron Ore Mine, Bacheli Complex in Chhattisgarh. This is a significant opportunity for ITI-qualified candidates, diploma holders, and engineering graduates who want to gain industrial training experience with a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking. Candidates from Assam with relevant ITI trades and engineering qualifications are fully eligible to apply.
The apprenticeship covers a wide range of trades including COPA, Mechanic Diesel, Fitter, Electrician, Welder, and Mechanic Motor Vehicle for Trade Apprentices; and Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, and Civil Engineering for Graduate and Technician Apprentices. The diversity of trades means candidates from virtually any ITI background can find a matching vacancy. Stipend and Industrial Training Benefits

Walk-in Schedule and How to Register
Interviews are scheduled trade-wise from 1 June to 11 June 2026 at the Training Institute, BIOM, Bacheli Complex. Trade Apprentice candidates must register on the Apprenticeship India portal at apprenticeshipindia.org before the interview. Graduate and Technician Apprentice candidates must register on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in before the interview. Reach the venue before 9:00 AM on your designated interview date with original documents and photocopies. No TA or DA is provided for attending the interview.

Educational Qualification

Graduate Apprentice
Candidates must possess 4 years Engineering Degree in relevant discipline.
Technician Apprentice
Candidates must possess 3 years Diploma in relevant discipline.
Important Eligibility Conditions
Candidates who have already completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprentice Act 1961 are not eligible.
Candidates having one year or more experience in relevant category are not eligible.
Candidates who completed qualification during or before 2022 are not eligible.
