SSC Stenographer Recruitment 2026

Staff Selection Commission has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of 731 tentative vacancies for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group B, Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group C) posts in various Ministries, Departments, and Government organizations across India. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online through the official SSC recruitment portal.

Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

Skill Test

Candidates qualifying in CBT will appear for Stenography Skill Test.

Dictation Speed:

Grade C: 100 words per minute

Grade D: 80 words per minute
