Salary & Pay Scale

Pay Scale varies by post (Level 1 to Level 8 as per 7th CPC). Approximate range: Level 1 (₹18,000-56,900), Level 6 (₹35,400-1,12,400), Level 8 (₹47,600-1,51,100). Exact pay scale mentioned against each post in Annexure-III.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality:Indian Citizen or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan Refugee (before 01.01.1962), or Person of Indian origin migrated from specified countries.
• Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026):Varies by post – 18-25, 18-27, 18-28, or 18-30 years.
• Educational Qualification:Varies from Matriculation (10th pass) to Graduation. Distance learning degrees are recognized only if UGC/DEC approved for the relevant period.
• Experience:Required for certain posts (must be acquired after completing educational qualification).

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Examination (CBE):Objective type, 100 questions (25 each in General Intelligence, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language), 60 minutes duration. Negative marking: 0.50 marks per wrong answer.
2. Skill Test (where applicable):Typing/Data Entry/Computer Proficiency Test (qualifying nature).
3. Document Verification (DV):Conducted by the User Department.

Application Fee

• Fee:₹100 (Rupees One Hundred only)
• Exempted Categories:Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation.
• Payment Mode:Online – BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card (Visa, Master, Maestro, RuPay).
• Correction Charges:₹200 for 1st correction, ₹500 for 2nd correction.

How to Apply

2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) with Aadhaar authentication (preferred) or upload required documents.
3. Log in and click "Apply" under "Phase-XIV/2026/Selection Posts Examination" in the "Live Examination" tab.
4. Fill personal, educational, and post-specific details.
5. Select Region, Post Code, and Examination Centre preferences (3 centres).
6. Capture live photograph (no pre-existing photo allowed) and upload scanned signature (10-20 KB, JPEG/JPG).
7. Preview application, agree to declaration, and submit.
8. Pay fee online (if not exempted).
9. Download and print the final application form for records.

Medical Standards

Candidate must be in good mental and bodily health, free from any physical defect likely to interfere with duties. Medical examination will be conducted by the Appointing Authority for selected candidates. For disabled Ex-Servicemen, a certificate from Demobilisation Medical Board is acceptable.
