Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent from a recognized Board/Institution.
Candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
50% Marks Relaxation: The 50% marks condition is not applicable to SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 stage).
Age Limit
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Limit as on: 01/01/2027
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India / Railway Recruitment Board rules.
Age Relaxation:
SC/ST – 5 years
OBC – 3 years
PwBD – 10 years
Ex-Servicemen – As per Government of India rules.
Salary / Pay Scale
Commercial cum Ticket Clerk:
Pay Level-3 – ₹21,700/- Initial Pay
Junior Clerk cum Typist:
Pay Level-2 – ₹19,900/- Initial Pay
Accounts Clerk cum Typist:
Pay Level-2 – ₹19,900/- Initial Pay
Trains Clerk:
Pay Level-2 – ₹19,900/- Initial Pay
Applicable allowances will be provided to Railway employees as per rules.
Typing posts may also require a skill/typing test as prescribed in the detailed CEN.
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
1. 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
3. Document Verification (DV)
4. Medical Examination – as applicable for the opted post
Final appointment will be subject to verification of original documents and prescribed medical standards.
Application Fee
General / OBC: ₹500/-
PwBD / Female / Transgender / Ex-Servicemen / SC / ST / Minority Communities / Economically Backward Class: ₹250/-
The fee is payable online through the RRB Apply portal. Refund rules, if any, will be applicable as per the detailed CEN.

Important Eligibility Points
Nationality: Indian citizens.
Candidates must have passed Matriculation with 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent, with the required minimum marks wherever applicable.
The 50% marks requirement does not apply to the categories and higher-qualified candidates mentioned in the notification.
Candidates can apply to only one RRB.

Step 1: Visit www.rrbapply.gov.in and click on Apply. Create an account if not already registered.
Step 2: Enter personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Gender, Aadhaar/Email ID and Mobile Number and create a password.
Step 3: Preview the details and submit to complete one-time registration.
Step 4: Log in and select RRB NTPC Undergraduate Level Posts – CEN 07/2026.
Step 5: Select the desired post and one RRB, then enter educational details and upload the required photograph, signature and certificates.
Step 6: Pay the applicable application fee online and submit the application before 13 November 2026, 11:59 PM IST.
Step 7: Save or print the submitted application for future reference.
